Art While Apart: Connecting Through Creativity
As a child, Lia adored art, drawing, fashion, and makeup, but she turned away from the creative, artistic part of herself to follow a very traditional corporate career path with the hope of securing a stable job, good salary, health insurance, and 401(K). For over 10 years, Lia served as a Marketing Director for mixed-use retail centers in several southern California tourism destinations. She bought into the illusion that the constant hustle and grind is a badge of honor, but after experiencing burnout and a personal health crisis, in 2016 she took a giant leap of faith, quit her job, and began a personal journey to discover her true calling.

Reconnecting with her childhood passions and stepping into her new identity as an artist and creative entrepreneur, Lia is reimaging her business with a focus on art and creativity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she created a virtual event series called "Art While Apart: Connecting Through Creativity." Lia brings her inspired energy and enthusiasm for expressing creativity to The Productivity Space’s January 2022 Bonus Session.
